John is a seasoned financial advisor with a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to helping individuals and families achieve their financial goals. With a strong foundation in investment banking, asset management, life insurance, and financial planning, John has spent over 35 years honing his expertise and delivering exceptional results for his clients.
He began his journey at Lehman Brothers (New York/Dallas), where he quickly showcased his talent and dedication, paving the way for a successful path ahead. Subsequently, John held key positions at esteemed institutions such as Bank of America (Charlotte), HSBC (New York), and Stephens (Little Rock/New York), before forming Deuschle Capital Management in 2008.
Building on his success, John joined Legacy Capital and First Financial, where he played an instrumental role in providing strategic financial advice to high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients. Embracing the opportunity to make an impact on a larger scale, John joined Trek Wealth and Sowell Management in 2024, where he continues to guide clients towards financial security and prosperity.
Recognizing the importance of community involvement, John dedicates his time and expertise to several boards and community outreach programs including The Salvation Army, Catholic High School for Boys Foundation, and Ducks Unlimited Investment Sub-committees (US & Canada).
John’s professional accomplishments are backed by a solid educational foundation, graduating from Little Rock Catholic High School for Boys where he developed solid core values and a work ethic backed by integrity and faith. From there, he attended Southern Methodist University before graduating from the University of Arkansas.
Outside of work, John finds joy in spending time with his family. He is a proud husband to his wife Ginny and a loving father to their four daughters: Starr, Lila, Blakeslee, and Hollis. John’s dedication to his family mirrors the commitment he brings to his clients, always striving to secure a better future for those he holds dear.
